Luke and language

We went to Round Rock (again) for the girls' piano recital on Saturday. We drove down, attended the recital, then drove back home - arriving at nearly 12 midnight. ~yawn~

During the recital, which lasted nearly 2 hours, Cass took Luke outside to take a break and play on the playground. Apparently there was a little Vietnamese girl also outside with her Dad.

Cass sends me a text with the following:

Vietnamese girl is talking to Luke.
Luke is ignoring her.
I say, "Luke, she is talking to you."
Luke says, "Dad, I don't speak Spanish."

Vietnamese dad laughs. :)

The British section in Kroger

Our local grocery store is a Kroger, and today I discovered that they have a British food section on their International aisle. Luke and I were shopping, and I stopped for a while to peruse the British products. I found myself needing to go to London. :)

There are Digestives on the top shelf, Crumpets underneath that, a shelf full of marmalades, HP sauces, and on the very bottom boxes of Weetabix.

Austin visit

We came to Austin today to take care of a few things, and we're
staying at John and Krissy's house (but Krissy is out of town). John
took Cass to see Atmosphere at Emo's, so he set up Rock Band for the
kids to play while they're gone. I think they're ready to tour . :)
