Last week, the girls both had practice tests for the TAKS at school. They treat it just like the real thing, so it took a few days to complete all the subjects. The 3rd graders take Reading and Math. The 5th graders take Reading, Math, and Science.
We all stayed home yesterday, because everybody (except me) was sick. Last night, Logan's teacher called to give us the results of her practice TAKS tests. They got them at school yesterday, and Logan was absent. She said that Logan missed only 1 on the Reading test, which would give her Commended status. Logan missed 4 on the Math test, which is 1 or 2 questions away from being Commended. Her teacher said that the things she missed on the Math test are topics that they haven't yet covered - so she fully expects Logan to make Commended on both official tests.
Cameron hasn't gotten her grades - or she hasn't told me if she's gotten them. LOL!
