His great aunt Betty Williams lived in Indianola for years and was friends with my Mom. She has an older daughter who is married to the headmaster of Pillow Academy. Her younger daughter Karen is closer to my age, and she lives in Starkville. I guess they are second cousins to Kris. I know that Karen went to Conway for the homecoming events.
Ms. Betty just died of cancer in April. I happened to be home for my Dad's surgery, and I went to her graveside service.
