Off to camp!

The girls are off to Sky Ranch this week. It was only an hour drive from here - yay! And Cameron has a friend from school in her cabin. Actually, Macy and her family have been in Tokyo for the school year, so it will be great for them to be able to catch up this week.

Catch-up

I haven't posted in several weeks. We got back from the cruise with a few days of school left. Then after school got out, we left to spend a week in Mississippi. Somewhere in there, I decided to get the ball rolling on planning our MSMS 20 year reunion - so I've been really busy.

The girls had their piano recital last night. Since they were dressed up and their hair was washed, I took some pictures. I changed Luke into a nice shirt, but couldn't get him out of his jeans. It's the time of year where the school clothes are all torn up, but I don't want to get him new jeans, since summer is just around the corner. Oh well.

Luke and I are leaving in about 30 minutes to meet up with our trip people and head to DFW. Woo hoo!

Titanic trip

Time to dust off (and renew) the passports! On Thursday, Luke and I are leaving for London. We'll arrive early Friday morning and hopefully spend the day in London (if we're not too jet lagged). On Saturday, we're going to Southampton, England to board a Royal Caribbean cruise ship for a 4 day cruise to Cork, Ireland. I hadn't thought of it before, but this is kind of the same route that the Titanic took on its voyage. It left port from Southampton, stopped in Cherbourg France, then headed to Queenstown Ireland (now known as Cobh Ireland), before beginning its ill-fated trip across the Atlantic. One of the excursions we can choose from is the Titanic Heritage tour, which will take you down to the port where Titanic stopped - it actually anchored near the port, since the water wasn't deep enough to accomodate it.

Mom's Lunch

The kids' school has Mom's Lunch this week, so I went to have lunch with Logan and Cameron today. I don't think Luke is interested, but if he is I'll go have lunch with him tomorrow.
